I came back to Montreal late at night for an exam back in the middle of December and was walking home from the train station on a cold Sunday night. After living in the city for a couple months I got to know that it can feel pretty desolate in certain areas on Sundays, and this was one of those places. At first I assumed the booth was empty but as I walked by to get a closer look I realized there was a man inside. It was pretty shocking but also made me realize that just because I can’t see people at first doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
